Why suburban pup was born
Like any small business owners, we know it’s critically important to always keep one eye on why we do what we do, so here’s a mini version of our dog meal manifesto.
- We humans hit our 30s and got serious about eating for health and longevity
- We noted we wanted our hounds to feel awesome for as long as possible too
- We consulted with a brilliant canine nutritionist
- We were pretty shocked by our insights into commercial pet food and its cumulative effects
- We vowed to feed our boys human-grade quality, in truly canine-appropriate combinations - and ideally still with the ease of small-serve containers
- But we routinely found ourselves batching up a week’s worth of balanced dog dinners at 11 o’clock on a Sunday night…
